Robert S. Feehs, M.D.

Neurotologist

Dr. Robert Feehs, M.D., a board-certified neurotologist, joined Denver Ear Associates in 1993. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 1980, he completed his general surgery internship and residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. He trained in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University and subsequently completed his Otology/Neurotology Skull Base Surgery fellowship at Denver Ear Institute in 1993.

His clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of chronic ear disease, dizziness, hearing loss, tinnitus, facial paralysis, and tumors of the ear. Dr. Feehs has extensive experience in the research and surgical application of cochlear and middle ear implants. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Neurotology Society, and provides consultation for the Colorado Newborn Hearing Screening Committee.

Dr. Feehs’ work has been published in a variety of medical journals, including Laryngoscope. He has authored “Laryngitis,” a chapter published in the book, Head and Neck Surgery – Otolaryngology. He has presented at several conferences on head and neck medical management. Dr. Robert Feehs has participated in many third-world country medical missions to provide hearing health care to the underprivileged.
